Le Petit Chef set is recommended for ages 7+. It is up to the parents to judge the child's autonomy and maturity. This knife must be used under the supervision of an adult.

X50CrMoV15 stainless steel is highly anti-corrosive and ensure a perfect cut.
Blade hardness 56-57 HRC

Beech is the most common wood used in Opinel handles. PEFC-certified, it comes from eco-managed farms in the Jura and Vercors regions. It is hard, resistant and easy to work. It is homogeneous in appearance, with a light color ranging from yellow to pink. It can be recognized by the presence of numerous small dark lines. The handle is varnished to protect it from moisture and dirt.
