Contract type: Permanent. Place of work: Chambéry (Savoie). Working hours: 35 hours per week in two shifts, Monday to Friday.

Role: Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the finishing operator applies a varnish finish to wooden handles in accordance with defined processes and production rates.The operator is responsible for ensuring the quantity and quality of the products at every stage of production.Main duties- Stock the workstation with the components required for the varnishing operations.- Collect, unload and store the handles in the designated locations – carry out the necessary data entry.- Adhere to the established production specifications for each product range.- Mix the varnishing products.- Carry out visual inspections of the products.- Complete activity tracking forms and enter the data into the computer system.- Carry out all types of stock-takes and analyse/rectify discrepancies.- Receive orders.- Carry out colour checks.The operator will ensure the safety and cleanliness of their workstation throughout these operations.

ProfileYou are meticulous, organised, able to work independently, adhere to procedures and are a good team player. Previous experience in an industrial setting is essential.

35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, rota covering morning/afternoon/day/day shifts over a 4-week period or day shifts only, depending on the role.

Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance and General Facilities Manager, you will join our team to carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment across our various workshops and on general facilities.

Responsibilities:

You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on our production equipment and the factory’s general facilities.

You will contribute to the development of procedures and maintenance methods, as well as to the development of our CMMS (DIMOMAINT), and you will play a key role in the management of spare parts.

You will lead improvement projects and propose upgrades to existing equipment with a view to enhancing reliability and reducing maintenance costs.

You may be required to draw up specifications, and to liaise with and supervise contractors working on certain equipment.

You may also be required to train our production staff in first-level maintenance and upkeep.

You will be required to be on call at weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) for one weekend every six weeks, and to cover for staff absences within the department as and when required.

Following a training period, you will take on the role of workshop supervisor.

Profile:

You have at least ten years’ experience in the operational maintenance of production equipment for medium- and large-scale production runs.

Ideally, you have gained this experience working on forming equipment or specialised machinery.

You have a sound knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering and pneumatics.

Knowledge of the SIEMENS Automation/CNC environment and FANUC robots would also be an advantage.

You are comfortable using computers, particularly within the Windows environment, and have previous experience of using CMMS and CAD software.

You are a hands-on individual who enjoys technical challenges.

You are available and responsive.

Your interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach make you the natural point of contact for the production team.

Role: Reporting to the workshop manager, you will be responsible for ensuring production in a steel machining workshop (grinding) for medium-sized production runs, in accordance with our standards.

Responsibilities:- You will operate CNC-controlled machining centres, which involves:o Replenishing the machines with components.o Carrying out quality checks during production.o Routine tool changes.o Making the necessary adjustments and settings to machine parameters during production to maintain consistent quality.o Carrying out first-level maintenance tasks.o Carrying out simple to moderate format changes.- You are able to create, modify or optimise CNC machining programmes or robot paths.- You analyse the causes of quality issues or simple machine malfunctions and implement the necessary corrections.- You proactively suggest improvements to your line managers to enhance day-to-day workshop operations.- You act as the main point of contact for support departments, including industrial methods, to optimise machining and production processes.- You complete production documentation, whether digital or on paper.- You receive and pass on instructions during shift handover.- You will help with induction, the sharing of best practice and training within the team, with a view to mutual support and collective development.

Profile: You hold a qualification in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS) and are familiar with CNC machining techniques. If you do not hold a qualification, you are familiar with industrial environments and metalworking, and are capable of learning a programming language.You are a hands-on individual. You are able to work as part of a team, which is essential to our success.

Contract type: Permanent contract, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role:- Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance of the tools in the cutting workshop to ensure they are available in line with the production schedule.- You will carry out the dismantling, resharpening/maintenance, any necessary repairs, reassembly and restoration of tools to standard specifications.- You will manage the stock of consumables required for tool maintenance, ensure this stock is replenished and guarantee its reliability through regular stock-takes.- Drawing on your analytical skills and technical expertise, you will optimise tool maintenance costs by replenishing or resharpening tools only when necessary.- You will contribute to the development of standards relating to operations within your remit and to the completion of all reports and monitoring records.- You will be involved in defining new tools, or upgrading existing ones, and fine-tuning them.- You may be required to train production staff on how to commission tools on presses, and to assist them with adjustments or any unforeseen issues.- You will play an active role in the continuous improvement projects implemented at the factory.- You may occasionally be required to carry out production work (due to staff shortages and/or production delays, or specific requirements related to technical expertise).

Profile:- You have significant initial experience in the maintenance and fine-tuning of tooling on presses for the manufacture of parts (preferably stainless steel), in medium or large production runs, preferably from thin sheets.- You are able to machine on conventional machines (milling machine, lathe and grinding machine). Experience of CNC machining would be a significant advantage.- You possess a sound understanding of mechanics as applied to machining techniques – both conventional and digital – as well as fitting and assembly.- You are computer literate, particularly in a Windows environment, and have previous experience using CAD software.- You are a hands-on, organised person. You demonstrate independence and good interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively as part of a team. - Experience with multi-slide presses would be an advantage.
