Opinel warranty

The Opinel items are guaranteed under normal use and exchanged in case of manufacturing defects. Damage due to normal wear and tear or improper use are not covered by the warranty.
However, if you wish, Opinel offers a sharpening service and repairs performed by our technicians in our workshops upon payment of a fee.

Sharpening service

The blade is slightly worn, the operation is to remake the blade wire to a height of about 1 mm
Package of 8 euros (including return shipping)
Time: 3 weeks after receipt of the knife

Sharpening Expert service

The blade is very worn, the operation is to remake the blade wire to a height of about 10 mm
20 euros (including return shipping)
Time: 3 weeks after receipt of the knife

Repair

We offer this service to give new life to your knife by replacing the faulty components. The knife is sent by registered mail with return receipt.

Thank you to send a picture of the product to confirm the feasibility of repair. Confirmation will be received within 7 days.

Once the form is submitted, you will be contacted within 10 days by our service department.
